Summary: For the price, they are excellent....
Comment: First off, I got these for $30 a few weeks ago...not the current $80 price tag! If I paid $80, I would be slightly disappointed.

But about the actual boot--they are a rich, black color and very soft. However, if you have big calves, these boots could give you some trouble. The tag on them says "stretch" but, don't believe it. They're not that stretchy! If you are a slim person, these should fit fine in the calf area. I don't have stick legs...and it took me a good minute to get them pulled up. Maybe it was just me, because they really weren't outrageously tight when I got them on.

I haven't actually gone out in these yet (still July-hot) but when I do, I will update. My initial impressions are that they are not terribly comfy--they could use a bottom insert. Yet, they are not uncomfortable. They offer you more freedom of movement than a leather or patent leather boot would.

Also-I am 5'7 and uncuffed they come just above my knees. I wear a 8.5 and they fit true to size for the most part.

I give them top marks for looks...they make my legs look skinny and are not puffy in the ankle area (you know what I mean). Sexy! For the price of $30 (hopefully it comes around again), you should definitely get these!


Edit: I wanted to add...MIA markets these boots as "wear any of 3 ways: slouchy mid-calf, knee high, or thigh high." That's what the tag says thats attached!
