Comment: I ordered these shoes in a 39 because that's what I usually wear in european shoes, but they came and they were a full size too large. I went to a local store to try some on, and I fit into a 38. Also the color on the light brown shoe was lighter on the toe area but it was uneven between the left and right. So if I get them again, it will be in a darker color.

Comment: I am allergic to leather that is not vegetable tanned. These shoe are vegetable tanned and give me no problem. I also have nerve damage in one foot and these are some of the most comfortable shoes I have. I have two pairs in different colors!!

Comment: I have never bought shoes online before, but the natural materials, whimsical style, and great reviews convinced me to try them. Like other reviewers said, these are super comfortable and were worth every penny ($120). In addition, they are probably the nicest smelling shoes I have ever owned (seriously!)--no chemical manufactured smell.

My only issue is that I wasn't sure exactly what European size I wear. I'm a pretty solid size US8, and the 38EU is just a tiny bit small. I might recommend a 39EU for a US8; a 38EU is fine if you wear a 7.5US. However, it's not really an issue with this shoe because of the open back. Love them anyway!
