Comment: I recently got these in a size 9, half a size up from my normal 8.5. They fit much better than the 8.5 would have. I have recently found that I can't wear a 8.5 in Clarks shoes for some reason. The boots are fairly nice. They are a very shiny leather...kind of remind me of patent leather....which I'm not crazy about. There is decent arc support but almost no padding. I don't think I'll be buying anymore Clarks until they start putting padding back in their shoes. These are ok. I also got a pair of Matisse suede boots recently and MUCH prefer them to these Clarks since they have more padding and are much softer (they are suede though, so not for bad weather wear!).

Comment: I am glad I bought these boots. They are classy, shiny, and perfect for the career day. Where them with some slacks and a sport coat. Wear them with knee-high stockings, as ankle booties tend to chew on the go. It's very annoying to have to pull up my trouser socks every time I get up to go somewhere, but that is why knee-high socks are recommended.
Anyway, these boots will suit your career style. They have plenty of room around the ankle and top of boot, so you don't have to feel them wrapped up too tight.

Comment: I really like this pair of boots and I wear them very often. It is not the most comfortable shoes ever, but it is stylish for its comfort. I noticed though the threads didn't stay in very long. I had it for less then 4 months but it seems like it might be torn away soon or something.

Comment: I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit and are comfortable. This boot was instantly comfortable. Put it on and wore it for the entire day. It comes in wide which was an added plus! I highly recommend this boot.
