Comment: i ordered these as work shoes. i am a cook.
these shoes are great, they feel comfortable (with or without socks, haha) after all day on my feet.

the only thing bad is the tread is well worn down, and i've only had them for 5 weeks (consider though, i wear them 5 days a week, for 8+ hours per day)

Comment: I usually buy Birkenstocks. I buy the wider size, but these only seem to come in the regular width. When I received them, they seemed smaller than expected--my feet barely fit into them.

Could have been the narrower size, could have been the fact that they were new, but even now after a two month wear-in, they seem shorter than my Birks by a few millimeters, and of course, narrower. I am used to these now, and they look great, and the quality seems very good.

Birkenstocks tend to last me 2-3 years of daily wear, so we shall see if these last that long. I am betting they do not, but even if they get halfway, they would still be a value, since they still look new and they cost so little.

I plan to by Birks next time, but if your feet are not wide like mine, maybe these are a good value for you--certainly they are no disappointment.

Comment: What more can I say, I LOVE these shoes. The Birkenstock line of shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Who needs a $200 pair of gym shoes...not me... give me Birkenstocks any time. Once you have tried them you will be hooked.
