Comment: These boots are a good value. Very comfortable and good looking. Keep your feet very warm. They say they are water proof but I haven't gotten them wet. Don't get a size larger, if anything get 1 size smaller. I bought my real size, 8 and they felt good at first but now they feel too big because they stretch.

Summary: Who needs Uggs?
Comment: I researched Uggs and other Australian shearling boots for my teenager for Christmas and just refused to pay $150-300 for a pair of boots that wouldn't get much wear in our warm Texas winters. These are so comfortable, I almost kept them for myself! The difference is the Australian sheep skin interior. It's so soft and plush and doesn't get packed down and matted with repeated wear like man-made materials. My daughter hasn't taken them off since Christmas morning. At less than $50.00, these Bearpaws were a great bargain and shipping was very fast. They do not come in half sizes, so size up (daughter wears 6 1/2, I ordered a 7). You won't want to wear socks, but if you do, there's plenty of room!

I got these boots as a Christmas present. I wear size 6.5 and got size 7. They fit perfectly. I was a little weary at first because I have a pair of U**s and they are size 6. But apparently the Bearpaw brand sizing is different. Anyway these boots are extremely warm and comfortable. I love wearing them because it feels like i'm wearing my slippers all day! I was looking for a non-U** version for a while now, but all the boots in the stores seemed so light and cheap feeling that I couldn't buy them. They even looked horrible too. But when I saw these online, they looked great and when I read about them, they sounded great too. I told my mom and she bought me them for Christmas. If you're hesitant on buying them, don't be. They are absolutely wonderful. Compared to the U** boots, you can tell a slight difference, but nothing that would ever make me give these boots up. They are the perfect winter boots. I wear them with everything. I think i'm even going to order another color. I have the chestnut right now. Everyone should have at least one pair of Bearpaws!
