Comment: There is a hard plastic tab on the inside of the sandal that attaches the strap. The other side of the tab has the logo that you see. This tab rubs against your feet and will cause painful blisters. Look around the internet and you will find similar complaints.

Summary: The only shoe I own that decreases my foot pain
Comment: I kept hearing the local teens talk about crocs but thought they were too ugly for anyone to actually like them. They look like they are made out of rubber and I assumed they would cause my feet to sweat. I was wrong. While vacationing with the local high school band, I needed something for the intense pain in my feet. I stumbled across a display of crocs and thought I might as well try on a pair. I was pleasantly surprised. They are not made out of rubber: instead they are made out of a plastic foam substance. There are additives in the material that prevent the growth of fungus and the air holes keep your feet dry so they don't smell. I bought a pair on the spot and wore them the next three days. At the end of the three days, the chronic pain from plantar fasciitis was gone. I wore them all day at a craft fair and rubbed a couple of blisters on the side of my foot. The blisters have healed and now I wear my crocs almost every day. Check out the manufacturers webpage to learn more about this ingenious shoe. Don't be fooled by imitations that look like crocs. They won't be made of the same material and you'll just have a pair of ugly shoes.

Summary: Amazing Shoes!
Comment: I have various foot problems and wear special expensive shoes with custom inserts. They're far better than most shoes, but even so, my feet have a limit. While traveling with my usual shoes my feet were worn out and I was literally hobbling through the airport, so I slipped on my daughter's Crocs - Wow, I didn't want to take them off!

Once we got to our destination, I swiped her shoes, and I've barely taken them off since. She and I just bought 2 more pairs so we can mix and match colors. What's amazing is that she has long skinny feet - probably about a 10 or 11 narrow - and mine are shorter and chunky - 7 1/2 WW - but we wear the same Crocs! They fit so loose and are so lightweight that you barely know you're wearing any shoes at all, yet they stay on. They do not get hot, they do not smell, they're squooshy but still firm, they grip the foot and pavement, and they're just plain fun.

The only problem I've had is that sometimes the sole grips too well, and I kind of trip over nothing.

Other than that, I love Crocs and I'm hoping for some end-of-season sales!

Comment: Crocs are the latest rage for beachgoers to wear on their feet--and they should be, too. These sandals are extremely comfortable with their trademark loose fit that never lets them become foul smelling from foot odor--they are even made from anti-microbial resin to make doubly sure that they won't contribute to foot odor. They are so lightweight you could almost think you're not wearing anything at all on your feet!

A friend of mine loves these and it's easy to see why. They are quite loose and comfortable; and the sole is ribbed presumably to avoid any falling should he run or walk on the beach. Although they are advertised to be "slip-resistant;" I would caution against running while wearing crocs. You could trip and fall because Crocs are made to be oversized for the sake of comfort.

The Orthotic footbed practically cradles your feet and they are excellent for people who are always on the go. You can wear these on more occasions that just when you're at the beach. And don't worry if you wear these as you wade just a bit into the water--if they should accidentally slide off your feet, they float on water so you can retrieve them easily! These crocs also feel great regardless if you are walking around the big city, hanging out with friends or just wearing them as a type of slipper inside the house. Excellent!

These crocs feature an adjustable rear heel strap; and this is a great plus. The rear heel strap can be pushed forward to that the crocs are even more like clogs. Crocs are also made from a very strong form of rubber-like resin--which takes abuse like I never imagined it could! Great!

People comment that the sizes run big--and they do. You may want to actually order a half-size down from your actual foot size. Crocs are intentionally manufactured to be extra wide and a bit extra long for comfort. That's great designing for you!

One caveat: don't forget to check the "pricing and availability chart" before you order your pair of Crocs. As of this writing not all colors are available in all sizes. I hope that stock increases soon!

Overall, these Crocs are the new and improved way to make you as comfortable as possible while you are at the beach--or even when you're doing other activities. You will take to these like a duck takes to water. Get yourself a pair--or even two--you won't regret it!

Summary: Heaven for your feet
Comment: Once while traveling, I had a big blister on my heel and needed something that wouldn't rub my heel. I happened to get a pair of Crocs since the strap can be moved forward to look like trim over the front. I was pleasantly surprised by the Crocs - very cushiony soft, like walking on air. Also the material is insulating enough to keep your feet warm yet the air holes ventilate enough that your feet don't get sweaty either.

I originally got the Crocs for temporary use but now I look forward to slipping into them everyday when I get home. It's wonderful to feel such cushioning on my feet with every step. They've replaced my slippers, mocassins, surf shoes and sandals.
