Comment: This is my second pair. I love these shoes. So much that I wore the knobs off the soles on the last pair that I'm now using as slippers. They are comfortable and durable, and the Nubuck cleans up with a sponge when I get them too dirty.

Comment: Only because I was having real trouble find a shoe in this style in a brick-and-mortar anywhere did I buy these online from Amazon. Normally, I buy shoes onsite because I'm a size 13 with a large instep and fit is not easy to get. This shoe from Merrell fit surprisingly well and is quite comfortable. I would definitely buy these again, but I have to say, I probably won't. I just don't like spending upwards of $80 on a pair of shoes, it just isn't me. There is no reason why cheaper shoes can't fit this well, I have other styles from Payless and Target that fit great too, and are less than 1/2 this price. I just couldn't find the look I wanted at either store, even went to some other stores, and couldn't find good fits, if they even had a size 13. Nonetheless, this is a great shoe, I really like it, but until the cost doesn't matter to me, I probably won't get another pair.

Comment: Comfortable right out of the box for my EEE feet. They may not appear to be the best quality shoe available but the price is right and one can expect a few years of useful life from this good looking shoe. Merrell makes a number of variations on this shoe but offers only a few of them in wide sizes - a real lack of awareness from a company that otherwise offers great footwear at good prices.

Summary: Nice shoes but couldnt they at least clean them?
Comment: These Merrel shoes are very comfortable. However I must say that appearance is 3/4 of the sale and when I opened the Amazon box these shoes were in a crushed box indicating to me that they were returned and then sent out to the next unlucky customer who hapenned to be me. The shoes had lint all over the suede and a mark on the sole. Crushed box, mark on sole, lint on suede. For this I am giving three stars. I will consider heavily the next time I purchase shoes from an online vendor.
