Summary: more like house slippers or warm weather outside shoes
Comment: The foam sole was a surprise, and they were much more lightweight/chintzy than I thought they'd be -- and the foam sole is *very* dangerous for snowy and icy weather -- super slippery! They are comfortable and roomy, but the inside lining became permanently smashed down and "unfluffable" after just a few wearings -- so I just came to treat them like indoor slippers for winter, and for this they're fine. Yeah, the weird thing of fake glued-on tags is bizarre -- why? This shoe just seems like a super-low-grade knock-off like you would find at a "dollar store" -- not to say they're not good for slippers, or that they won't seem like a better value once Spring comes to Chicago! But I wish I'd paid half of what I paid -- that's what they seem worth. Shipping and Service was PERFECT though.

Summary: great price, fashionable boot
Comment: These were for my 14 yr old daughter, she loved them and they blend right in with the more expensive types out there...Her friends all said they were great (two important criterior for teenagers!)
They also don't make her feet look too big, as some of the knock off Uggs do...these are trim and nice looking.
We recommend them!

Summary: Low Shearling Boot
Comment: These boots are great for the price! I was pleasantly surprised how well they hold up. I've worn them quite a bit in snow, ice, sleet, rain and they're not dirty looking or worn. These boots are so comfortable that you feel like you're wearing comfy warm slippers at home. For the money, I would definitely recommend these boots.

Summary: Okay, but what is with the secrecy?
Comment: They are cute, at a good price. I was a bit disappointed that the sole is foam (albeit a durable foam) but not rubber or anything. I was surprised at how comfy and warm they were, and I live in Michigan. I was a bit confused though, since these are actually "Refuge, by Charlotte Russe" boots, but Splash covered all the Refuge labels with stickers saying Splash (even the fabric tag on the inside, lol) Who cares what brand it is? Its under $20. It just seems suspicious. Oh, and they shipped like 4 days ahead of schedule, which was nice.

Summary: Get what you pay for
Comment: Boots arrived, but they're an indoor house shoe in colder climates. I don't suggest going outside if you live in a snowy region. The soles have no traction whatsoever, the insoles collapse within days since the shearling is already not very thick. Extremely light weight. Soles will melt if you try to dry out/warm near a heating vent.
If you live in sunny southern California then these are perfect for you, otherwise I don't recommend for the rest of the country. Not ugg-like, not even close.
