Summary: Very disappointed
Comment: I had a pair of Chooka boots that I wore about 5-6 times on my walk to the subway (3 blocks) and then to my office (1 block). With this modest use, somehow, the sole seemed to split. Ok, I get it, stuff breaks. BUT I have emailed them several times with no response. For $60, I think I should at least get some kind of acknowledgement. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB and would recommend all the other critics do the same, if so inclined. I never do that sort of thing... I would usually just chalk it up as a loss but when I read these other reviews about the universally rude and unhelpful customer service it added fuel to the fire!

Summary: Cute, but short-lived
Comment: I've had two different pairs of Chooka rain boots and both times, they developed tears at the seam of the sole within a few months of purchse. I live in Seattle and felt that rain boots were a perfect shoe for the rain and snow. The tread on the shoe is good, so you definitely won't slip, but I was surprised at the degree of wear they developed just wearing them for walking to school and work. On one pair, the buckle cracked, and on both pairs, there were holes in the rubber that water would leak through. When I called Chooka's customer service number to ask about repair, their represantative rudely informed me that "It's rubber. There's nothing you can do about it. Just return it if it's still under warranty." Thanks, jerk. For a company located right outside of Seattle, I would've expected a longer lasting rain boot. Overall, I love the style and comfort of the boots, but they are not made for everyday use. Only consider purchasing if you don't reside in a largely rainy climate.

Summary: Puddles? No worries!
Comment: My second day of college I had to walk all the way across campus in the downpouring rain. The walk took about 15 and I was completely drenched. I decided rainboots were a must have. I bought the Chooka brand with Tiny Whales because they were a good price and I thought they were adorable. I am very satisfied with my purchase. They are comfortable and now I go out of my way to walk in puddles just knowing my feet will stay dry. They were definitely worth the money!

Summary: blue whale boots
Comment: The blue whale wellies are terrific. The size was true to fit and they came in perfect condition. They have held up and are quite comfortable with heavy socks.

Summary: Cute but Not so Comfy
Comment: I may just have to break these in, but they fit a bit awkwardly at first because of the material. However, this is expected with rainboots and these ones seem very durable. Overall these are good boots.
